Man robbed and pistol-whipped while exiting Bridgeport ATM

A guy was robbed and battered overnight after withdrawing cash from an ATM in Bridgeport.

The man claimed he grabbed $200 from an ATM between 34th and Halsted, and as he was leaving, three men robbed and pistol-whipped him. They grabbed his cash, wallet, cell phone, and car keys.

His head had been split open in multiple places, and he needed staples to repair some of the wounds.

The victim stated that the criminals also attempted to steal his car, but he was able to fend them off.

The robbers then left the scene in a dark Infiniti.
