Tennessee mom of three received justice after years

According to reports, over two years after a Memphis mother identified the person who shot her in front of her three young kids, police arrested and charged the woman with attempted first-degree murder.

Briana Gilmore, 22, is accused of shooting the lady on March 28, 2022, during a confrontation in an apartment complex parking lot, according to Action News 5.

Gilmore, who was apprehended on Thursday, and the unidentified victim were arguing outside the woman’s car, which included her three children — a four-year-old, a three-year-old, and a two-month-old baby.

Gilmore took out a gun at one point and shot the mother of three in the head.

According to the report, first responders discovered the victim lying close to the car, which was carrying her children.

Witnesses to the incident helped authorities identify Gilmore as a suspect.

On April 4, 2022, the victim identified Gilmore as the shooter from a six-person lineup, according to ABC 24.

Gilmore has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm while committing a hazardous felony, and three counts of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

She is being jailed at the Shelby County Jail on a $200,000 bond.

Her next court appearance is Monday.
