Kentucky Teachers Hit $1 Million Lottery Jackpot After 8 Years

A group of educators at a Kentucky middle school won a $1 million prize after pooling their money for eight years.

Thirty employees at Rector A Jones Middle School in Boone County each received a $24,000 check in prizes after taxes.

They had been pooling their money to play the lottery for over eight years, selecting the same numbers every week since 2019.

“They’re all family. “We are a group,” one winner declared as they collected their winnings together.
