Gas Prices Rising Again in Pennsylvania, Stay Prepared

Gas prices in Pennsylvania have risen yet again.

According to Gas Buddy, the average gas price in the state is $3.47 a gallon, which is more than the national average of $3.19. Experts predict that petrol prices will rise every week beginning in March, as the country shifts to the more expensive summer fuel blend.

Around the Midstate, AAA shows gas prices ranging from $3.40/g in Juniata County, the lowest in the Midstate, to $3.55/g in Mifflin County, the highest in our area.

The current gas price average in Harrisburg is $3.47 per gallon. One year ago, the price was slightly higher, at $3.74/g. Lancaster follows the same trend, with an average gas price of $3.49/g, compared to $3.75/g same time last year.

According to AAA, the highest gas prices ever recorded in numerous counties throughout Pennsylvania were more than $5 per gallon in June 2022.
