Woman Killed in Crash Forces Closure of Northbound Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade

After the Ives Dairy Road exit, all of the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 were stopped for approximately four hours on Sunday due to a collision involving two vehicles that resulted in the death of a lady.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a woman driving a Ford Mustang was involved in a collision with a Chevrolet SUV, which caused her to careen off the road and collide with a tree and a metal traffic sign. There, at Aventura Hospital, the woman passed away.

An accident that occurred at 8:40 in the morning caused northbound traffic to be rerouted off Interstate 95 at exit 16, Northeast 203rd Street, close to Aventura and Miami Gardens, until approximately 12:40 in the afternoon. It was also blocked at the entrance to I-95 north that is located on Ives Dairy Road.
