Help Needed by Family of Bakersfield Woman Found Murdered!

The corpse of a San Fernando lady who had been brutally killed was discovered near the off-ramp between Highway 99 and Hosking Avenue over a year and a half ago. Her family is now encouraging anyone with information to come forward.

“I don’t think anyone deserves to go through what she went through,” Karla Terron’s aunt, Pamela Rivera, stated.

According to her relatives, 27-year-old Terron was in the prime of her life. Her passing is all the more tragic for that reason.

Just after six in the morning on December 17, 2022, Terron’s body was discovered burned inside a car near Southbound 99 and Hosking. She died, according to the Coroner’s Office, shortly before five in the morning. The mother of two had suffered many stab wounds.

“With all the hurt with all the suffering, we’re not going to have her with us anymore,” Rivera stated. “But she’s a mother of two. Two children were left without a mother. There were two children who didn’t deserve to lose their mother.”

Authorities claim that a club in San Fernando is where she was last seen, raising the issue of how she got here.

Detective Jose Bravo of the California Highway Patrol stated, “During this investigation, it was discovered that Ms. Terron was last at a location in Bakersfield before being discarded on the freeway.”

This is just the second highway murder investigation the CHP has been involved in in the previous five years, according to Officer Tomas Martinez. Because of this, community involvement is crucial since even the tiniest element may hold the key to finding solutions.

“Luckily, we can rely on our allied agencies to help us out but the public is probably the one that can solve this case by providing us with the information we need,” Martinez stated.

In an attempt to bring to light the identity of someone who could hold the key to assisting them in obtaining justice, Terron’s family has placed a monument on the Hosking off-ramp.

“Everyone deserves to be happy and no one should experience what she did—she should be here with us,” Rivera remarked, “like anyone, like any person.”

We urge that you call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500 or the California Highway Patrol at (661) 369-6600 if you have any information about this incident.
