Man Shot Dead by Goons who Vandalized His Car Outside His Home in Texas; Victim Died in Pregnant Wife’s Arms: Houston Police

Houston, TX- Authorities in Texas are currently investigating a tragic incident where a man lost his life while attempting to apprehend suspected vandals. Tragically, he passed away in the arms of his grieving wife.

A man named Osvaldo Casas, aged 37, tragically lost his life after attempting to confront individuals involved in vandalism near his residence in Houston, Texas. Medical professionals declared him deceased following the incident, as reported by ABC-13.

The police have chosen not to disclose his identity, but various news sources, as well as a GoFundMe campaign started by his family, have identified him as the individual who was tragically shot on Saturday, August 10th.

According to the fundraiser, the victim’s wife, who is expecting a baby next month, valiantly attempted to save his life by performing CPR until first responders arrived at the scene, as reported by the Houston Police Department.

According to reports from Houston police, Casas’ car was reportedly vandalized the previous night. The culprit allegedly threw eggs and flour at the car before making a quick getaway in a black truck.

According to police, Casas was alerted by neighbors who spotted a car resembling the one in question. He promptly went outside to investigate.

In the fundraiser set up to help with his funeral expenses, Molina said he died “while bravely protecting our family” and that he leaves behind his 16-year-old and an 8-year-old daughter.
