Halfmoon man arrested after allegedly slashing a vehicle’s tires with a knife

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Mark S. LaRock Jr., 29, of Halfmoon, was taken into custody on suspicion of criminal mischief.

Around 6:39 p.m. on Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office reports that they were called to an ongoing domestic incident on Windy Circle in Halfmoon.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, LaRock is charged with purposefully causing more than $250 worth of damage to another person’s property by using a knife to stab a car’s tires.

Authorities claim that LaRock Jr. was arrested as a result of their investigation into the call.

LaRock Jr. faces charges of criminal mischief in the third degree.

He was released on his own recognizance pending more procedures after being arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court.
