Pittsfield High School’s dean faces drug trafficking charges.
Lavante Wiggins, 30, and Theodore Monty Warren, 42, both of Pittsfield, were taken into custody on Wednesday.
According to investigators, Warren was a runner for Wiggins, who arranged the distribution of cocaine in Pittsfield.
Investigators found that one consumer accumulated debt of over $34,000.
After appearing in federal court in Springfield, both men were granted conditional release.
They each risk a life sentence of supervised release, a fine of $1 million, and up to 20 years in jail if found guilty.
