Thedailymiaminews– On Tuesday, January 7, Timothy E. Brown, who has been in the local news for the past nine months, was sentenced in the Division 5 circuit courtroom of the Buchanan County Courthouse.
On November 20, 2024, Brown was found guilty of three counts: Third Degree Child Molestation of a Child Less Than 14 Years Old, Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child Under 15 Years Old (First Offense), Enticement or Attempted Enticement of a Child (Actor 21 Years Old or Older and Child Under 15 Years Old), and Statutory Sodomy or Attempted Statutory Sodomy — Deviate Sexual Intercourse — Person Under 14 Years Old.
Judge Daniel F. Kellogg of Buchanan County Division 5 Circuit Court sentenced Brown to 50 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on Tuesday, January 7, for the charges of Statutory Sodomy, Enticement, Third Degree Child Molestation, and Sexual Misconduct.
Brown received a total sentence from the Missouri Department of Corrections of 74 years in prison.
On Wednesday, January 8, a travel order was filed for Brown, allowing him to be taken to the Missouri Department of Corrections under the supervision of Buchanan County Sheriff Bill Puett.
