South Glens Falls man gets prison time for knifepoint robbery at pharmacy

For robbing a pharmacy at knifepoint, a guy from South Glens Falls was given a 14-year prison sentence on Monday.

On June 3, 2021, 34-year-old Eric McIntosh was taken into custody for robbing the Rite Aid store on Route 50 in Wilton. McIntosh consumed over $3,000 worth of prescription drugs.

In October 2023, McIntosh entered a guilty plea to felony first-degree robbery in Saratoga County Court.

Additionally, he has to complete five years of post-release monitoring.
