Private funeral remembering Bethlehem woman found after 11 years

In remembrance of Amanda King, people are gathering. She vanished eleven years ago, and her remains were discovered in October in Troy, close to Burden Pond.In November, her remains were positively identified.

Her death is being investigated by Troy Police.

When she vanished, King was residing at Conifer Park, a drug treatment center in Glenville.

Her family reported her missing to Glenville Police, but the case was never solved.

The Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville was chosen as the location for the private funeral.

King’s mother will be buried beside her.
