Colonie traffic stop leads to drug charges for East Greenbush man

Following a traffic stop, a man from East Greenbush is being charged with many offenses.

On Monday night, 51-year-old David Slurff was pulled over on Loudon Road in Colonie.

According to the authorities, he lacked a license and his car was neither insured nor registered.

According to authorities, Slurff had an illegal brass knife and knuckle on him, and illicit substances were also discovered in his car.

According to authorities, Slurff then declined to submit to a drug test.

Criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of drug paraphernalia are among the counts against him. He has a number of driving infractions as well.

The Albany County Probation Department was in charge of his release.
