Florida 19-year-old scammed $800,000 from five individuals

A 19-year-old from Palm Coast is suspected of taking $800,000 from five different victims, according to a press release from the office of United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg.

Noah Michael Urban, also known as ‘Sosa,’ ‘Elijah,’ ‘King Bob,’ and ‘Anthony Ramirez,’ was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, eight counts of wire fraud, and five counts of aggravated identity theft. He was arrested on January 9 and charged on January 11.

He might be sentenced to up to 20 years in federal prison. He might possibly face two or more years in prison for aggravated identity theft.

According to the indictment, Urban obtained the $800,000 through wire fraud and identity theft between August 2022 and March 2023.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Justice Department’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section, the United States Attorney’s Office District of Oregon, and the United States Attorney’s Office Middle District of Florida collaborated on this investigation. Assistant United States Attorney John Cannizzaro is prosecuting the case.
