Arkansas residents stay alert: Two ‘dangerous’ murder suspects escaped jail

Officials have started a hunt for two murder suspects who fled from an Arkansas jail.

Noah Roush, 22, and Jatonia Bryant, 23, were found missing from the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on Monday. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office believes they escaped within 48 hours after being discovered missing.

Roush was being held with probable cause for a domestic burglary and theft of items. The sheriff’s office also identified Roush as a suspect in a homicide.

Bryant was being held on probable cause for capital murder, according to law officials.

The sheriff’s office stated that both persons should be “considered dangerous” and approached only by law enforcement professionals.

“Every effort is being made at this time to capture these suspects.” The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said in a press statement that it is working with the Pine Bluff Police Department Vice and Narcotics, Arkansas State Police, and the Arkansas Department of Correction to locate these individuals.
