Two teenagers were arrested Wednesday after reportedly robbing a woman at gunpoint on Chicago’s South Side.
A 16-year-old kid has been charged with three felonies: armed robbery with a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
A 13-year-old girl faces one felony count of armed robbery with a firearm and one misdemeanor charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to Chicago police, the two teenagers robbed a 19-year-old lady at gunpoint in the 6400 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. The 16-year-old boy then allegedly assaulted the victim with a weapon.
Officers responded promptly and detained the two teenagers.
