Woman’s Head Found Among Severed Body Parts in Park

On Thursday, a young girl discovered a severed leg at a horrible crime scene on Long Island, and the subsequent investigation has unearthed further body parts.

Two people’s severed body parts were discovered in a park in Babylon, New York, on Thursday and Friday, including a man and woman’s head, leg, and numerous arms, according to Suffolk County police.

A student walking to school at 8:40 a.m. on Thursday discovered the first left arm near the eastern edge of Southards Pond Park. When the student saw the limb, she informed her father, who came to the site and dialed 911, according to authorities.

According to authorities, a right arm was later discovered on the eastern side of the park, around 20 feet from where the girl had come across the left arm. Police stated both tattooed arms belonged to a man.

A cadaver dog discovered a woman’s leg under a mound of leaves on the park’s western edge, and homicide detectives investigated the area.

On Friday morning, police discovered a female victim’s arm and head on the park’s western side.

Police stated the female had no tattoos on her arms.

Police believe the various body parts belong to just two people: a male and a woman.
