Amber Alert canceled for 4-year-old Bremerton boy taken from his bed

According to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, an Amber Alert was issued in Bremerton Sunday morning for a boy who was stolen by his biological mother.

At 11:57 a.m. Sunday, the sheriff’s office said that the youngster had been located safe and that the alert had been canceled.

According to the sheriff’s office, a deputy provided information that assisted in locating the suspect, Shannon Michelle Isbell, and stopping her vehicle.

Despite her efforts to flee, the woman was apprehended.

Isbell was booked into the Kitsap County Jail on accusations of second-degree kidnapping/domestic violence, resisting arrest, violating a protective order, and first-degree burglary/domestic violence.

The Amber Alert for the four-year-old was issued just after 10 a.m. Sunday.

According to officials, Isbell was seen pulling the youngster from his bed around midnight on Sunday morning.

The sheriff’s office initially stated that she was driving a blue 2005 Kia Spectra sedan, but at 11:36 a.m., they posted an update indicating that she may have been driving a 2006 silver Ford Escape instead.

The alert stated that Isbell had made threats to hurt herself and the boy.
