Shockwaves in Tunica Co. As Second Suspect Pinned in Brutal Quadruple Killing!

A Tunica man faces several accusations, including four counts of capital murder, following the discovery of a pregnant lady and two men dead in a vehicle laced with gunshot holes near Robinsonville, Mississippi, some months ago.

Anthony “A.J.” Carter Jr., 20, is accused of four counts of capital murder, four counts of conspiracy to conduct a felony, one act of drive-by shooting, and one count of firing into a motor vehicle, according to a statement released by the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office on Friday.

According to investigators, two males and a pregnant lady were murdered in an accident on Casino Center Drive in Robinsonville on November 10 as a result of gunfire.

The victims’ names were as follows:

  1. 24 years old Deshun Montarrio Isabell, a Mississippian from Tunica
  2. 23-year-old Mississippi native Steven Dewayne Burts of Dundee
  3. Tednequa Tenice Moore, 25, resides in Robinsonville, Mississippi
  4. the unborn child of Moore

According to officials, Isabell perished from the impact of the collision, but Burts and Moore were shot to death.

Carter, according to the sheriff’s office, has been detained since the beginning of April on a number of unrelated allegations, including two counts of attempted murder, possession of guns, possession of a prohibited drug, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In addition, he is facing two additional counts of attempted murder after being identified as a potential suspect in two other drive-by shootings that happened in the White Oak neighborhood in October and November.

After his arrest in late November, 18-year-old Deonte Taylor is still being held, according to the sheriff’s office.

Carter and Taylor might both receive the death sentence or life in prison.

According to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, further accusations and arrests are planned.
