Houston Tragedy: 4 Teens Charged with Capital Murder in Convenience Store Clerk’s Death

Four teenagers face capital murder charges after a shooting at a Houston convenience store on March 20, according to investigators.

According to investigators, the young lads, ages 14, 16, and 16, have been submitted to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities for capital murder.

They are accused of the death of Steven Mendoza De Luna, 42.

The gunshot occurred near 8524 Gulf Freeway shortly before 1 a.m.

When cops arrived at the convenience shop, they discovered Mendoza De Luna, who was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to early findings, Mendoza De Luna was the clerk on duty when three suspects entered the business and attempted to rob it.

Authorities claim that during the heist, one of the teens shot Mendoza De Luna.

According to authorities, two 14-year-old suspects were detained on March 28, one 16-year-old suspect was arrested on April 6, and the final suspect was arrested on Monday.
