West Richland police in Washington state are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating a murder suspect who they claim is “armed” and “dangerous,” after a woman was found dead outside a local school on Monday.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Elias Huizar, 40. Police are also looking for a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla with Washington plates CBZ4745. Anyone who sees the suspect or his vehicle should phone 911, according to authorities.
Officers from the West Richland authorities Department responded at 3:23 p.m. PT to a report of a shooting on the grounds of Wiley Elementary School, authorities said.
Police reported that an adult female was pronounced dead outside the school on Monday afternoon.
Hours later, police said they discovered another homicide victim, “a known associate of the suspect,” while serving a search order at Huizar’s home. Police provided no further information about the victim.
In addition to calling Huizar “armed” and “dangerous,” police stated he is “likely to commit more crimes.”
