Police Arrest Three Men Linked to Multiple 7-11 Armed Robberies in Redwood City

After a string of armed robberies at 7-11 locations in the area, three guys were apprehended by the Redwood City police and other law enforcement authorities.

Police in Redwood City responded to two separate armed robberies this morning: one at a 7-11 on 5th Avenue and another at a different 7-11 on El Camino Real, according to a news release from the police department.

It is worth mentioning that the suspects described in these robberies were the same as those in an earlier report by Martinez PD. This prompted a resourceful dispatcher from the San Mateo Police Department to investigate databases.

The data from the Martinez alert were relayed to the dispatcher after the suspect descriptions were heard. A hit from Redwood City’s new Automated License Plate Reader system then confirmed the details.

The first suspect, one of three who tried to blend in with Denny’s restaurant before police intervention, was discovered next to a discarded pistol; he was arrested and placed behind a dumpster.

One was located lurking a few blocks away, and the other was caught hiding in the suspect vehicle; both were captured following a short foot pursuit. Three individuals, Anderson David, Jeremiah Patton, and Wesley Michael, all between the ages of 19 and 30, are presently facing allegations of armed robbery and many felonies including firearms.
