Indiana Man Arrested on Child Molestation Charges Involving Two Victims Under 14

Authorities in Indiana have taken 65-year-old Duncan Maikranz from Fort Branch into custody on allegations of child molestation.

ISP has reported that a criminal investigation has uncovered allegations against Maikranz for the molestation of two children who are under 14 years old.

On October 18, Detective Tobias Odom from the Indiana State Police began this investigation following a report from the victim’s family.

Authorities report that the supposed events took place earlier this year.

The Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office has taken action following the investigation, filing criminal charges against Maikranz and issuing a felony warrant for his arrest.

On Wednesday at 4:45 p.m., law enforcement officials from Indiana State Police and Fort Branch Police took Maikranz into custody at his residence in Fort Branch, and the operation was carried out smoothly.

He has been transported to the Gibson County Jail, where he remains in custody without the possibility of bond.

Maikranz faces serious allegations, being charged with two counts related to the molestation of a child, classified as a Level 1 Felony.
