FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ – Two men were injured in separate falls—one from a ladder and the other from a hay loft—simultaneously in Sussex County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Jeffrey Lebron.
Both incidents occurred on October 29 at 6:43 p.m. in Frankford Township, Lebron said.
In the first incident, troopers arrived at a residence on Morris Avenue where a 60-year-old man had fallen from a ladder, resulting in moderate injuries. Emergency responders airlifted the victim to a local hospital for further evaluation, Lebron said.
At the same time, troopers responded to another medical assist on Route 206 at milepost 86.9. There, a 61-year-old man had fallen from a hay loft, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for further assessment, Lebron said.
Both incidents remain under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
