Police: Albany man threatened person during domestic incident

An Albany man is accused of threatening a person during a domestic incident.

Officers responded to Morris Street near Knox Street around noon on Nov. 6.

Harold Johnson allegedly was involved in an argument inside his home. He made a threatening gesture by grabbing his waistband, implying he had a gun, police said.

Johnson was arrested on scene. A search of the residence by members of the Children and Family Service Unit found a loaded handgun.

Johnson was charged with one count of criminal possession of a firearm. He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and Released to the supervision of Albany County Probation Services.
