GE Aerospace announced Friday it has donated $400,000 to three organizations, one directly making an impact in Albany.

GE Aerospace announced Friday it has donated $400,000 to three organizations, one directly making an impact in Albany.

The Fisher House Foundation is getting $335,000, including $20,000 for the Stratton VA Medical Center House.

The funding will help their effort to provide comfortable housing for military and veterans families for free while their loved one is receiving care.

Other organizations receiving money include Habitat P.L.U.S. in the Boston area, which helps with transitional housing for veterans with psychiatric disabilities, and Tragedy Assistance Program for

Survivors, which provides comfort to people grieving the death of a loved one in the military.
