Police are still working to identify the humans remains found in Troy last month.

As NewsChannel 13 reported, a human skull was found in Burden Pond Preserve in South Troy.

NewsChannel 13 reached out to Troy Police on Tuesday for an update. Police are waiting for the DNA analysis and expect to have it within the next few weeks, they said.

There was a lot of talk of the remains possibly being Jaliek Rainwalker, a 12-year-old boy missing since 2007, but police ruled that out.
