Troy DPW employee recovering after bite from aggressive dog

A Troy Department of Public Works employee is recovering after a dog bit them in the arm.

It happened Monday night in the temporary DPW dog shelter, the mayor’s office said.

The employee was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The dog is now being evaluated by veterinarians and animal control.

As NewsChannel 13 has reported, the temporary DPW shelter was opened as Troy struggles to find space for stray dogs.
