Albany Police are investigating the death of a man in front of the library on Washington Avenue on Thursday.
Officers responded to a report of a person down at around 1:20 p.m. Thursday. They found a 53-year-old man unresponsive. He was treated and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Investigators do not believe the death is criminal nature. It may be a possible overdose, but that cannot be confirmed until an autopsy is done, according to police.
