Police: Cobleskill pair robbed taxi driver in Schenectady

Two people from Cobleskill are accused of robbing a taxi driver in Schenectady.  

State Police said James R. Parker, 26, and Nicole Zielinksi, 50, were riding in a taxi on Wednesday, Nov. 13 around 3:50 a.m. Parker and Zielinksi are accused of holding the driver at knifepoint against their will. They also allegedly stole money and injured the driver. 

Parker and Zielinski were identified as suspects. Investigators found them at their home in Cobleskill around 7 p.m. that night. After a brief standoff, they were arrested.  

Both have been charged with robbery, kidnapping, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and theft of services. They were taken to Schenectady County Jail to await arraignment.
