A groundbreaking new maternal health program was unveiled in Albany County on Monday.

The United Way of the Greater Capital Region unveiled Jubilant Birth Albany. The one-year pilot program is designed to improve maternal health and birth outcomes. It will provide direct financial assistance to 25 expectant mothers from underserved communities.

The program will also provide vital health and wellness and support services.
