Bomb threat targets Rep. Elise Stefanik’s home

A bomb threat was made against the Saratoga County residence of Representative Elise Stefanik.

According to her office, the threat was made on Wednesday morning.

At the time, Stefanik was returning home from Thanksgiving in Washington. She was accompanied by her husband and their 3-year-old son.

In a statement, her office stated, “We are immensely grateful for the extraordinary dedication of law enforcement officers who keep our communities safe around-the-clock.” We would want to wish everyone in Upstate New York a safe and joyous Thanksgiving. Our law enforcement personnel and military families who are on duty throughout the holidays have our sincere gratitude.

County law enforcement, the State Police, and the U.S. Capitol Police arrived on the scene and are conducting an investigation.
