Driver hurt after crashing into tractor-trailer in Pittstown

After colliding with a tractor-trailer in Rensselaer County on Friday, one person suffered serious injuries.

It took place on Pittstown’s Route 7 at approximately 4:10 p.m. According to State Police, the car struck a westbound tractor-trailer while it was moving east.

Due to serious injuries, the driver was sent to Albany Medical Center.

For a long time, in order to clean up and conduct an investigation, Route 7 was closed in both directions between John Snyder Road and Parker School Road.

There were no other recorded injuries.

Investigations are underway on the crash.
