According to authorities, two adolescents from Schenectady were taken into custody after stealing a car from Crossgates Mall.It occurred on Saturday after 4 p.m.
According to Guilderland Police, they attempted to halt the stolen vehicle after discovering it on Crossgates Mall Road.
Police said the teenagers did not put the car in park as they attempted to flee. After that, the vehicle struck a police cruiser as it rolled down the street.
The teenagers were apprehended promptly and are currently being charged with illegal motor vehicle usage and criminal possession of stolen property.
They were given back to their guardians and were scheduled to appear in Albany County Court later.
