Albany man gets 12 years in prison on drug charges

On Wednesday, a guy from Albany was found guilty of drug offenses and given a 12-year sentence in federal prison.

Kamaro Campbell, 42, was found in possession of a fanny pack containing $15,000, a loaded revolver, and 105 grams of fentanyl and 95 grams of cocaine. On June 28, 2023, police searched his residence and discovered the drugs and firearm, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

In another storage facility, Campbell also possessed 105 grams of cocaine. He acknowledged selling 74 grams of methamphetamine and 155 grams of cocaine.

After being released, Campbell must additionally complete five years of post-release monitoring.
