Glens Falls man allegedly drove drunk with child in vehicle

A man from Glens Falls is charged with driving under the influence while carrying a child.

On November 24, shortly before 5 p.m., State Police pulled over a car at a sobriety checkpoint on Lower Warren Street in Queensbury.

According to authorities, Vernel E. Bauser, 44, was discovered to be intoxicated. The car had a minor under the age of sixteen.

Bauser was accused of endangering the welfare of a child, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated DWI.
