Police: Schoharie woman left child alone in running vehicle

Charges have been brought against a Schoharie mother for allegedly abandoning a toddler in a moving car.

On November 29, at around 2:20 p.m., State Police arrived to the Cobleskill Walmart in response to a report of an unattended child in a car in the parking lot. Before the troopers came, the driver got back into the car.The car was discovered by police on Cobleskill’s Route 7. Angelina M. Adamovich, 33, the driver, was accused of putting a child’s welfare at jeopardy.

Police said the young child was in good health.

On January 7, Adamovich is scheduled to appear in Cobleskill Town Court.
