Major Northway bridge replacement project complete in Warren County

In Warren County, a significant project on the Northway is now finished.

The two bridges spanning Route 9 between Exits 22 and 23 in Lake George were replaced as part of the $21.1 million, three-year project.

The bridges, which were constructed in the 1960s, were replaced by the project.

According to the office of Governor Kathy Hochul, the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act provided 90% of the funds.

It is anticipated that this new building will endure for 75 years.
