Thedailymiaminews– After reportedly abandoning her kids in the icy casino parking lot, an Ohio lady has been charged with putting them in danger.
When security officers at the Hollywood Casino Toledo noticed two youngsters alone in a car in the casino’s parking structure on January 5, Shaneja Gamble, 22, was taken into custody. The arrest affidavit states that they notified a Toledo Police Department off-duty officer.
The young mother was located and taken into custody, even though the affidavit did not explain how the security guards and the off-duty police discovered Gamble or what she was doing when she allegedly left her kids alone. The children’s ages were not specified. On the same day, Gamble was arrested and taken to the Lucas County Corrections Center.
According to the affidavit, Toledo’s air temperature on January 5 was 26 degrees. When the officer got there, the automobile was unlocked and not running. There was no information given regarding the children’s health or the treatment they are receiving.
According to court documents, Gamble showed up for her arraignment on January 6 and was freed on her own recognizance. On a misdemeanor charge of harming children and posing a serious risk to their health or safety, she entered a not guilty plea. Court documents did not include her next court date.
