Thedailymiaminews– According to the Plainfield Police Department, on New Year’s Day, two individuals wearing masks and armed with knives removed a girl who was 15 years old from a parked vehicle and threatened her against her will.
On January 1, at around 4:17 a.m., personnel of the Plainfield Police Department responded to a report of an argument that was taking place around North Chestnut Street in Plainfield. The altercation was reportedly between two persons who were armed with knives at the time.
As soon as they arrived, they found out that two persons who were wearing masks and were armed with knives had taken a girl who was 15 years old from a parked vehicle in the backyard of the house and threatened her with a knife. The girl was not hurt in the confrontation, according to the Plainfield Police Department.
One of the suspects, according to the Plainfield Police Department, entered the enclosed porch of the property, where they were accosted by the people who were living there. Following the confrontation, the individuals who were wearing masks ran away on foot.
In the course of the investigation, a K9 track was carried out with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police; however, no culprits were discovered during this process.
It has been determined by the Plainfield Police Department that this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the general public as a result of this.
