The Driver Wasn’t Hurt in the Crash Into Lake Winnebago, and Plans Have Been Made to Remove the Car

ThedailymiaminewsNEENAH, Wis. – The owner of a car in Neenah who went off the road and crashed into Lake Winnebago was not hurt, and police are planning to get rid of it.

There are pictures of the car sitting just off the shore of Lake Winnebago in a Facebook post from the Neenah Polizei.

Police say it happened on January 9 in the 200 block of Lakeshore Avenue, just south of Kimberly Point Park. The driver got off the road, drove across the ice, and into the water.

It was reported that the driver was not hurt, and plans are being made to get the car back. “Dozens of calls have been made about this, and we want people to know there is no emergency. The vehicle will be taken away as soon as possible,” the police said on Facebook.
