The 9 Best Pizza Spots in Wisconsin: Do Your Favorites Make the List?

The state of Wisconsin is known for its cheeseburgers, cheese curds, and Bloody Marys, while Illinois is known for its pizza. This is not an incorrect statement; yet, according to a recent survey, Wisconsin does in fact have some extremely fantastic pizza shops, and these nine are the best of them.

Burgers and Bloody Marys of the highest caliber may be found at this Wisconsin pub and grill.

The state of Illinois has been my home for the past three decades. I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, and I can confidently say that those who have a passion for pizza who live in the Rockford, Illinois area are quite fortunate. There were only two pizza restaurants that I like eating at while I was growing up in Wisconsin: Rocky Rococos and Pizza Pit. You won’t need to pause for thought when you talk to someone who grew up in Rockford because they will tell you about ten wonderful sites without stopping to think about them.

I was curious as to whether or not Wisconsin’s reputation for pizza has greatly improved. Dave Portnoy, who works for Barstool Sports, has contributed to the visibility of a number of pizza restaurants across the United States through his evaluations of One Bite Pizza. In his travels through Illinois, he discovered that he had a profound affection for Chicago’s deep dish. I thought it would be a good idea to find out if he has ever gone to Wisconsin and what he enjoyed there. The very first evaluation that he gave left me feeling dissatisfied.

If I were to leave Illinois for pizza, where would I go? I don’t leave the state very often for pizza. I posed the question to the most opinionated pizza lovers I am familiar with, which is our Facebook followers community.
