On the morning of May 30, a tractor trailer smashed into two automobiles, utility poles, and a structure in Ridgefield, leaving two individuals hospitalized but in stable condition, according to the Ridgefield Fire Department on Facebook.
Around 2:50 a.m., the fire crew responded to a car accident at the junction of Broad Avenue and Maple Avenue.
The fire service rescued one trapped individual, who was sent to a hospital in stable condition.
One firefighter had a medical issue on the scene and was transferred to a local hospital, where he was also in stable condition.
Palisades Park, Fairview, and Cliffside officials helped remove the automobiles. The Ridgefield Fire Department said that units had been on the scene for approximately four hours.
The Ridgefield Police Department did not immediately reply to a request for information on how the crash occurred on Friday morning.
