Ellen Garrett said she was still in pain on Friday and wants the reckless perpetrator apprehended so he does not harm anybody else.
On Wednesday, the 72-year-old Broward County resident reported that a road rage driver was speeding and chasing her in Coral Springs.
“I see him weaving in and out, so I was trying to get away from him,” Garrett told me.
The aggressive motorist came up with her near Coral Ridge Drive and Sample Road, and she claimed everything happened so quickly that when she began bleeding, she assumed she had been shot.
It found out that the man had thrown a rock at her.
“I could have been killed,” Garrett claimed.
The Coral Springs Police Department was investigating the incident.
Detectives requested anyone with information about this or other incidents to contact Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 and remain anonymous.
