Investigators from the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office believe she fell asleep at the wheel and over the center line. Her car collided head-on with an incoming vehicle.

Her 12-year-old daughter, who was also in the vehicle, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The second driver, a 32-year-old woman, had a leg injury but is expected to recover.
