2 Girls on Electric Scooter Struck by Vehicle in Delaware County, Both Critically Injured

Police say two girls were struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, resulting in serious, life-threatening injuries.

Aston Township Police stated in a press statement that the event occurred on Saturday, June 14, 2025, around 2:18 p.m., near Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road in Aston.

Police added that when first responders arrived on the scene, they administered urgent help to both girls before taking them to a nearby hospital. Both girls are currently classified in critical condition.

The Aston Township Police Department and the Delaware County Accident Reconstruction Team continue to investigate the event.

The driver of the involved car is cooperating with the inquiry and has not received any tickets or criminal charges.

During the inquiry, police claimed Lehr Boulevard was closed; however, it has since reopened for traffic.

Police have not revealed any information about this occurrence.
