Family and friends of a 19-year-old Phoenix woman are looking for answers after she died in a motorcycle accident, and they believe her bike was stolen from the scene.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, on June 8, around 7 p.m., a single-vehicle crash occurred on eastbound Interstate 10 near the transition ramp to Interstate 17. According to law enforcement officials, the motorcyclist lost control and collided with the median wall, knocking him down.
According to DPS, the motorcycle remained at the ramp but was stolen before law enforcement arrived.
Annabel Force, 19, was identified by family and friends as the motorcycle rider killed in the crash.
“Annabel was a ball of light. She was an incredible person. Annabel’s wife, Sakura Keiser, stated that she had many ambitions and planned to do a lot with her life.
Annabel only got her motorcycle a few weeks ago, according to Keiser.
“It made her the happiest person in the world to start riding,” she explained to ABC15.
Keiser and the rest of Annabel’s family and friends are hoping that anyone who witnessed the crash will share any footage or statements so that she can get her motorcycle back. According to the family, her motorcycle was a black Yamaha YZF-R7 from 2022.
“Please return it. I understand that it appeared to be a freebie on the side of the road, but it is actually my wife’s bike. I would like to get it back. I need to see what happened. “I need to know what caused the accident,” Keiser explained.
The DPS said the crash is still being investigated. Annabel’s friends and family have started a GoFundMe page to help with memorial services.
