A mother and a young kid were critically injured in a fireworks mishap in Lancaster County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said people were setting off fireworks outside a home on River Road in Drumore Township on Thursday, June 12, between 8 and 10 p.m.
According to the complaint, one of the pyrotechnics exploded, injuring a 45-year-old woman from Peach Bottom and a 3-year-old boy from Drumore.
According to troopers, they were both taken to surrounding hospitals with serious injuries and burns. There has been no word on their condition.
The event is still under investigation by state police.
