The Conroe, Texas police department extended a kind gesture to the family of a Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy who was injured in a motorcycle accident.
SCSO Sergeant Sam Lilley had a traumatic brain injury in an on-duty motorcycle accident in October and is currently in Conroe for rehabilitation, according to the police department.
“With the generous support of local businesses, our department was honored to assemble a care package for Sgt. Lilley and his parents,” according to Conroe Police. “The basket included snacks, gift cards, CPD merchandise, and other thoughtful items to provide comfort during this challenging time.”
“Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Sgt. Lilley, his family, and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office as he continues his courageous journey toward recovery,” the cops added.
