Parachute Hi-Fi will occupy the location at 3500 N Elston Ave. in Avondale later this year. The new idea, which is an extension of the Parachute brand, will combine inventive Korean American cuisine with a high-fidelity music bar.

“Our goal is to expand Parachute. Allowing ourselves to be as creative as we want to be is what we want. According to Kim and Clark’s release, “We think a restaurant can be expressive and agile, and it can be more than one thing in more than one space.”

You may anticipate a diverse range of menu items, such as king oyster mushroom skewers, a fish fillet sandwich with uni-tartar sauce, and pepperoni kimchi pizza puff. Popular Bing Bread from Parachute, which was forced to disappear due to rising food prices, will return in a restricted amount. Along with specialty cocktails like octopus and parmesan cheese, the beverage program will serve sool, or rice-based alcoholic drinks from Korea.

Only walk-ins will be allowed at Parachute Hi-Fi, which features an interior with wood paneling, contemporary lighting, and acoustics. Naturally, the vibe and experience will revolve around music, with records and CDs being turned and played in an acoustically tuned space using vintage equipment. In addition, the pub intends to present special programming, including guest DJs.

This summer is when Parachute Hi-Fi is expected to launch.
